The Nemenhah means "People of the Haymenhay (Holy Spirit)" and they referred to themselves as The People: a blueprint that succeeded in peace for over 1000 years.
"Wherefore we had no more Nephiah (Nephites), neither Lahmahnhah (Lamanites), nor Muhlehkah (Mulekites),
Ahmohnayhah (people of Ammon or Anti Nephi Lehites), or any manner of ethnic divisions. We called ourselves Nemenhah, The People of the Haymehnay (Holy Ghost) from that time forth, for we were one people, not many."

We are dedicated to conversations of the Nemenhah perspective within the context of the 'restoration' through Joseph Smith, the Book of Mormon, and the prophesied "Marvelous Work and Wonder" tied to all of Israel and the world.
"Where the Nayfihah (Nephites) had fallen into wickedness, we have escaped and avoided rebellion. And all this I attribute to the wisdom of Tsihblohn, for had he not provided copies of the plates of scriptures for us when we removed unto this land, we would have fallen into unbelief. And I also attribute our great success to the ministrations of Nayfi (Nephi) unto the Nemenhah for he taught us to rely on the word of the Peacemaker (Jesus Christ). Blessed be the Peacemaker for He has provided a refuge and sanctuary for us."

The short answer is yes, but it is important to recognize that indigenous Americans are as diverse as Europeans or any other continent's inhabitants. This record is a family record written in old Sahheptin language. It covers a time from around 50 B.C. to the early 1800's. They were a devoted group of people fleeing the land southward ( Waynahstitspah), where the great city of
Zarahemla governed. You have seen them referenced many times in the Book of Mormon (if you have read it), but perhaps never knew what become of them.
They had very specific guiding principles and distinct beliefs. The record shows their success when they adhered to them and struggled when they did not. Their counsels led discussions which directed them back. Men’s humility to seek again their fathers led them back. Their failures reminded them of what they were leaving behind and their constant principles kept drawing them
forward. They were a remnant upon a promised land.
We can begin here and now to make personal changes that lead us to Tsiohn (zion) and enduring peace. Because of the Savior's command in 3 Nephi to search Isaiah, we will also have a heavy focus on viewing these records through the perspective of Isaiah's prophesy.
Each person confirmed all things with the Haymehnay (Holy Ghost). They sought the face of the Peacemaker ( Jesus Christ) to be taught.
All covenants were understood completely before they were made. This way they could commit to the good with full intent.
Man sought not to be above another. Family members, community members, nor nations were coerced or ruled by the domination of another. They governed by consent in counsels. Because the men knew they could be more rash, leaders of communities within the counsel must have first been nominated by the mothers counsel. Mothers were very unlikely to send their sons to war over hubris.
They lived in appreciation and balance with creation and the earth gave back.
Specific cities did not exceed 200 families, so the earth could provide for their needs. But there were many cities and they had things in common to provide for one another, with no poor among them. They were also free to create for themselves; and had joy in working to make excess, so they could give to others.
“Behold, the people of Kohrayahntohn, are Nemenhah indeed. Great should be your joy and also your cause to give thanks and rejoice. For, ye have listened to my voice and ye have sought my face. Wherefore, I have manifested myself unto you at many times, and ye are not surprised nor too much amazed by my appearance unto you this day. This thing does please me very much...Continue faithful and I will visit you often to teach you also.”
-Jesus Christ (Peacemaker) recorded in Tsi Muhayl 7:2-4
